The IMTZ technicians advise and support regarding all technical issues and procurement problems, the use and operation of media technology devices and facilities for mobile and stationary use. Our scope of services also includes the maintenance of multimedia devices in lecture halls, a repair workshop and a central technology lending service.

The ITMZ supports the Technology Department with developing technical concepts for net-based multimedia equipment in lecture halls of the University of Rostock. After completion, we take over the user support, from technical instruction to staff support during lectures and events (sound, media presentation). In addition, we continuously check, maintain and repair installed media technology,on our own or via external services.
