The ITMC provides to all university students and staff members a central user account according to the ITMC user regulations. With the identification via this user account, several web services of the university can be used.
Students of the University of Rostock
For students, the user account is automatically generated after the data are reported by the Service Centre Students Team Student Secretariat. The Student Secretariat will send the access data.
Staff members of the university sector
For staff members, the user account is automatically generated after the data are reported by the Department of Human Resources and Personnel Development, Personnel Services Unit. The ITMZ will send the access data.
Staff member of the university’s medical sector
The user accounts for scientific staff members are automatically generated after the data are reported by the Human Resources Division. Non-scientific employees please contact uni-zugang(at)med.uni-rostock.de. The ITMZ will send the access data.
Other applications for user accounts must be submitted at the ITMZ’s administrative office in writing via a completely filled in user application. As a principle, the application must be submitted by a university member. Excepted from this are students from other universities for whom a valid student certificate is the precondition. The ITMZ will send the access data for guest or function accounts.
When receiving the access data, you get your personal user ID and an email address. This email address is the official email address where official and important information are send by the university, for instance by the university management.
