After successfully installing the latest client software, some setting must be made. This includes, amongst others, nodename and TCPServerAddress, TCPPORT, transfer protocol etc. Unfortunately, the location where the configuration entries are made differ from one operation system to the other. As a rule, all entries are made in the files "dsm.opt" and/or " dsm.sys". The file where the entry is made can be seen in the accordingly also installed documentation.
